Photograph Album by James Valentine for the Victorian parlour table, there are 80 albumen photographs pasted down on both sides of 26 very thick card pages edged in guilt, bound in a dark green pebbled leather with 5 raised bands to the spine, front printed with gold Royal warrant titles, silk end papers, all hinges intact with no cracking, made by Alfred Jubb in Huddersfield.
The photographs are titled, numbered, and initialled J. V. There are 21 full plate photographs 230mm, 9″ x 180mm, 7″ and 57 half plate photographs 180mm, 7″ x 110mm, 4″.
