Glass Lamp Shades , a beautiful matched pair of antique hand blown French Vaseline, opaline glass lamp shades. These shades show the classic characteristics of Portieux‑Vallerysthal and Legras production: soft blue- green‑to‑white opalescence, Vaseline glass, hand‑tooled ruffled rims, and completely seam‑free construction (indicating true mouth‑blown manufacture).
One shade features a worked optic swirl pattern typical of Portieux‑Vallerysthal catalogue pieces from the early 1900s. The second shade has the smoother opaline body associated with Legras’ Saint‑Denis workshops. Both retain their original French glass collars.
