A small child’s ceramic drinking mug cup with a transfer print of “The History of The House That Jack Built”.

Depicting on one side The Rat eating the malt and on the other side The cat that Killed the rat.

With The Verse “This is the Cat that Killed the Rat that eat the Malt that lay in the House that Jack built.

This is a cumulative nursery rhyme and has many variations.


No makers marks


The mug is very worn with two discoloured cracks on either side and one discoloured chip on the handle and one discoloured chip on the base with other smaller nibbles on the rim and base and general all over crazing.
